Who needs a certificate?
This course is designed for those responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at work. It is important for employees who use hazardous substances in manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and offices.
What will I learn?
- Identify the hazards associated with those substances
- Identify the risks and controls available to deal with substances
- Understand what to expect from a COSHH assessment
- Employees will learn to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.
How do I get my certificate?
The course takes half a day to complete and at the end of the day, you will be required to answer a multiple choice test. If you pass the test your certificate will be sent out to you in the post.
